We're All In This Together

Having triplets has introduced me to a whole community of other families who have shared in this unique experience. I feel so blessed to be the mother of triplets and share the joys and curiosities and questions of this journey with the beautiful and kind mothers I’ve met online. They are so generous with encouraging words and prayer and support for each other and have taught me much about what it means to love your neighbor. When anyone is having trouble or in need, this group of otherwise strangers pulls together to lift up that family as if they’ve known them their whole lives. One family is in great need of that support right now, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity I have to help, even though its in such a small way.

You can read about Robbie and Trina and their 6 month old triplets Simon, Dexter and Linus at their blog here. Linus has been battling severe heart problems since he was born and has spent the majority of his life in the hospital undergoing an incredible number of surgeries and procedures to repair his tiny heart. He’s gone back and forth between home and the hospital many times. His current stay has just hit the 6 week mark…as many weeks as my babies have been alive. This family has an amazing spirit and has endured more heartache than I can imagine, yet they remain hopeful and find joy in all that they can. There is currently an auction going on to help raise money for their medical expenses, and one of the items up for bidding is a collection of 5 of my alphabet prints. Please visit the auction page, share it with your friends and most of all pray for this sweet family. It brings me to tears just imagining any of my babies going through what sweet little Linus has. Read the auction guidelines here.

Here are my prints that are up for auction:

Even if you don’t have a Linus of your own you could buy this set and gift the prints individually. If you’d like to bid on any of the auction items and keep up with how Linus is doing check out the Team Linus facebook page. Please keep this family in your prayers!
