This sweet little face may look innocent, what with that flirty grin and those irresistibly squeezable cheeks, but just behind that gummy smile is a force that knows no limits. Quinn went with me to the fabric store today and while we were waiting in the checkout line she decided it was high time to get out of there and was not shy about letting everyone in the entire store know it. Little one screamed til she was purple in the face and started gagging on her own tongue. The high ceilings and tile floors allowed her screams to echo for thousands of square feet and gave me my first experience of being embarrassed of one of my children in public. She cried all the way out to the car and fell asleep within 30 seconds after we started moving. When we got home I went to get her out of the car and in her sleep she was sucking on a pacifier that she didn’t realize wasn’t in her mouth anymore. Quinn’s traveling privileges are revoked until further notice.
On the plus side, I got all of these great fabrics on sale!

Lovely fabric, lovely girl (I can’t hear her in Puerto Rico, though you might have thought differently in the fabric store.)
