We're All In This Together

Just a few favorite photos from our Christmas festivities with Nana and Granddad and Grandma and Grandpa and aunts and uncles and cousins and everybody.

Zoey and Oliver with my mom and dad. (Nana and Granddad)

It actually snowed on Christmas morning! In Texas!

I know, I know, I’m SO behind on updating el bloggo. Sorry to keep you waiting. We started Christmas day with a yummy breakfast and reading the Christmas story (on an iPad, cause we’re all technological and stuff), and got around to opening up presents after nap time.

I think we’ll do a picture like this every year before they open their first presents, so when they’re 15 they can roll their eyes and be like “MoooOOOooom this is dumb.” And I can be like “KiiiIIIIiiiidddss quit your whining or I’ll show you that picture of me the night before you were born again.”

Poor Zoey was sick and miserable all day on Christmas. Everyone had colds (warning you now about the immense amount of snot in all of our pictures), but she just obviously felt terrible and it made me so sad.

They kinda got into the unwrapping thing, but they mainly pulled at the ribbons and bows and proceeded to eat them. Great fun was had by all.

I got a little ahead of myself and published my reflection on 2011 post before our Christmas photos. We kind of had 4 Christmases so we of course took like 7,000 photos. I’ll only put a few of the best up here though. :)

Christmas Eve was spent with my side of the family. We got together with my parents, my cousin Nicole, and Uncle Bobby, Aunt Jenny and the babies’ cousin Grant. It was so much fun to have 4 little ones at the center of all the festivities. Zoey LOVED bows, particularly eating them. Quinn loved the shiny silver tissue paper and stared at it all morning. Oliver was all over the place and had a good ol’ time.

We took this picture of all 4 kids for my mom’s Christmas card. Taking a picture of 4 kids under 18 months is…challenging! But we got a good one with minimal photoshopping.
