Baby shower season is upon us!
Last week our co-workers threw us a sweet shower with so many thoughtful touches. It was a real group effort and it made us feel so loved! Ashaun designed and painted the super cool sign pictured above and made a banner with the babies’ names that was strung up on the wall. She also designed beautiful invitations that I still need to take pictures of—will post those later. Many thanks to our own Lauren Allen for taking the great pictures. Justin and me comparing belly bumps…not much of a competition!
Kelsey made the diaper cake (love the snooze button pacifier!), and the McClards brought the real cake. These things were seriously the most amazing cake balls ever (oreo and red velvet, mmm), made by The Hospitality Sweet.
Switch gave us a glider for the nursery! And Justin dutifully wrote everything down per his wife’s instruction.
A beautiful blanket in Alexander Henry fabric (notice Pax, the Hoffice dog in the bottom right corner.) And an appropriately science-fiction themed onesie. Kids, you’ll find out soon enough…your dad is a big nerd, but a fun one!
The resident wild man to the left is Branch, who had his fair share of cake balls. Alice on the right with her twin boys Cam and Field. Lauren kindly pointed out that this is my future + 1 ! Oh boy…

Love love love the names! Zoe is at the top of my girl’s name list, but I doubt we’ll ever get to use it, because my husband’s favorite dog growing up was named Zoe. Have you heard the Staind song “Zoe Jane”? Love it.
Also, I adore the fact that you have three babies with names starting with Z,O, and Q. Your babies are worth a lot in Scrabble!

I love the names! And I also love cake balls, they are my favorites! This looks like such a fun shower
BTW, I had a pregnant dream last night. I blame it on you and one of my close friends in College Station who is also pregnant.

We ran into Justin’s dad yesterday at church… it was so great to hear how you guys are doing… he told us about your site, and I’ve been reading all about your adventure the passed few months! We are CRAZY excited for you guys!!!
And a really strange side note… a few months back, while Lincoln and I were playing at a park down the street from our house, I’m pretty sure we played with your friend’s twins, Cam & Field! …they were with their grandparents in Fort Worth. Anyway, SMALL – WORLD!
