I’ve been trying to catch up with posts on the major events of the last few months but I can’t let myself forget some of the funny little things that they’re doing now that they’re big opinionated toddlers.
Yesterday Quinn had a mega block in each hand, which made Oliver of course need to have at least both of them. He crawled over to her and yanked them way from her while she sat looking a little stunned. I said, “Oliver, give those back to Quinn, she’s playing with them right now.” You know what he did? He looked right in my eyes and distinctly said “No.” Very matter of factly. I said, “Yes, we’re giving them back to Quinn,” and took them gently from him and handed them back to the innocent one. As soon as she got them back in her hand you know what she did because she’s the sweetest little sister in the entire world? HELD OUT ONE ARM TO HER BROTHER TO GIVE HIM ONE OF THEM. And you know what he did? Reached for the OTHER ONE that she wasn’t offering him and yanked it away.
