We’ve taken the babies out several times in public now and I keep waiting to hear the dreaded rude comments that other triplet moms get, like “Triplets? I feel sorry for you,” or “Glad its you and not me,” or “I thought twins were bad.” I wait to see if anyone is going to come up and stare or gawk or whisper about us and you know what? None of that has happened. Now, we haven’t gone to a very crowded public place, just some trips to the library, some stores and the doctor’s office, but I have to say that I have only heard people say nice things and tell me how precious my babies are. I can’t help but wonder if its because the people in Texas are just friendlier. I love my Texans!
Today we managed getting all three babies out to Old Navy and Carters to get some summertime duds for this hot hot weather (the definite downside to the Lone Star State) and I think Carters may need to do some restocking of their shelves. The babies were great as long as we had bottles handy to plug ‘em up. It wasn’t even too bad pushing the double stroller around (we put 2 in the double and one in a single, way easier than managing the triple stroller in stores).
Quinn gave us a little fashion show when we got home while Zoey took a nap:

I tried to get Ollie to cooperate, but boys aren’t so into fashion shows.
